Padmé Amidala (born Padmé Naberrie) was the youngest Queen of Naboo, and later a member of the Galactic Senate. She was known for taking action when events called for it. She secretly married Anakin Skywalker, gets force choked by Anakin in Revenge of the Sith and later dies in childbirth. Her children were Luke and Leia Skywalker, who are brought to different homes because Anakin must not know he had two children.
