FN-1824 was a First Order stormtrooper who was part of the FN Corps, and was stationed on Starkiller Base. He was charged with guarding Rey, who had been captured on Takodana. She used her fledgling Force abilities to influence him into releasing her with the door to the cell open and dropping his weapon before leaving. He then retired to his barracks and removed his armor, before being taken for questioning as to why he freed Rey. He was found not guilty, and likely died on Starkiller Base with a clear conscious.

FN-1824 was trained as a regular First Order stormtrooper by captains Cardinal and Phasma like most, if not all of the First Order's stormtrooper corps.

FN-1824 was equipped with a set of standard First Order stormtrooper armor, an F-11D blaster rifle, and a SE-44C blaster pistol.
